Eating some foods can increase sugar levels in our body. In contrast, low carbohydrate intake can help lower blood sugar levels and significantly reduce the risk of diabetes complications.



1. Soft drinks

Contain sugar and are the worst choice for someone with diabetes. Prefer water, soda, or tea instead of sugary drinks.


2. Trans Fats

Trans fats are found in margarine, butter, creams, and ready-made frozen meals. Although trans fats do not directly increase blood sugar levels, they have been linked to insulin resistance, high belly fat, low levels of good HDL cholesterol, and low blood pressure.
