Mistakes You Must Avoid in Skincare

Brush your teeth after coffee

It is true that acids or sugars in coffee, soft drinks, and fruit juices damage the outer shell of your teeth called enamel. But you should not brush your teeth immediately. You will remove the enamel if you brush your teeth after eating something acidic. Instead, rinse well with water and wait at least 1 hour before brushing. Better yet, brush them before drinking.

Do not drink water when consuming alcohol

Red wine stains the teeth, but similarly, white wine has acids and tannins. They can damage your enamel and make your teeth more vulnerable to stains. Alcohol also dries your mouth, which means you have less saliva to flush out acids and bacteria. To protect your teeth and avoid stains, rinse your mouth with water after each drink.

You are not using the right amount of shampoo

The shampoo removes from the hair the natural oils of your scalp. If you put too much, your hair will become dry and dull.  it also depends on your hair. For thin, straight hair, you may need to wash it daily if it accumulates oil and dirt, but many experts say that you should wash it every 2 to 3 days. If you have curly hair you can wash it every 4-5 days. People with dry hair can wash it once or twice a month.

Clean your ears

The swabs push the cell into the ear canal. In addition, they can damage the eardrum or small bones that help you hear. Ideally, you should not clean your ears - your body can "clean" them on its own. But if you are bothered by the cell, hear tinnitus, or have difficulty hearing, see your doctor. It can safely remove the cell.

Shave your feet just before the pedicure

Dryness on your skin immediately after shaving is the perfect entry point for any bacteria. This could lead to infection. Do not shave your feet for at least 24 hours before the pedicure.

You do not change razors often

If you have been using the same razor for a long time, you probably need to go through the same spot more than once to get the desired result. This creates tiny scratches on your skin that can lead to rashes, irritation, and infection. You need to change the blades after about five to seven shaves.

Take a bath with hot water

Hot water dries the skin. If you have eczema, make it worse with hot water. Therefore, try not to take a hot shower or shower often.

Rub your face

You do not need to use a brush to wash your face. All your skin needs is a gentle massage with your fingers and a mild cleanser. Wash your face once or twice a day in lukewarm or cold water. Always rinse well.

You use many products

In addition to a gentle cleanser for your face, dermatologists say all you need is a moisturizer and a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher. Serums are expensive, with unproven benefits and toners can dry out your skin. For acne, do not use a lot of products with salicylic acid and benzene peroxide. If you combine them, they can irritate your skin. If conventional pharmacy products do not work, talk to your dermatologist.

Apply soap to the sensitive area

Avoid harsh soaps that are scented or antiseptic - they can upset the balance of bacteria that keep the area healthy. The same goes for scented wipes. All you need is a simple soap to gently wash the area every day.
